Doubts about the file .wad

Hi,

I'm a new user of Nortek, our team work has an Aquadopp profiler.

A couple of weeks ago, we use this instrument and now, I will begin to work with the record data. I have seen the data of my file .wad. But, I have a doubt about this file. I've read the manual and some posts of this forum in order to find some answer, but I couldn't find anything.

Could someone tell me, if the columns 6,7,8 of .wad file represent the U,V,Z components velocity? and what about, the column 9?

The structure of the .wad file is described in the .hdr file. Below is a sample from a dataset I've got. I guess column 9 is a spare for a potential forth beam.

Please tell me if your .hdr doesn't have this content together with the software version.

I see that my assumptions were right.

I'm using the Aquapro V. 1.31 software version. When I use this software, I get the *.hdr file, but in the headers of velocity only is written the label of beam 1, beam 2, beam 3 and beam 4.
